My wife is FAT, CONFUSED and SIMPLEMINDED

The Principles of Uncertainty

The real Einstein (Albert
who played the violin
badly
but so what
there is nothing greater
than music
NOTHING)
loved Johannes Keppler.

And if Einstein loved Kepler
I love Kepler.

He wrote about celestial harmony

But domestic harmony
eluded him.

He confided in his friend
Robertus de Fluctibus
and wrote in his diary

„My wife is FAT
CONFUSED and SIMPLEMINDED.”

It makes me sad
that he tought that

After all she had to
wash and iron
the crazy collar.

But then she died.

Poor Kepler.
Poor Kepler’s wife.

Poor everybody.

I will go
for a walk

and calm down.*

What is this book? What is anything? Who am I? Stop it. Forget it. This is a year in my life profusely illustrated. Abounding with anguish, confusion, bits of wisdom, musings, meanderings, buckets of JOIE de VIVRE and restful sojourns. (Maira Kalman)

Adevăratul Einstein (Albert
care cânta prost
la vioară
şi ce dacă
nu e nimic mai tare
ca muzica
NI-MIC)
îl iubea pe Johannes Kepler.

Şi dacă Einstein îl iubea pe Kepler
şi eu îl iubesc.

A scris despre armonia celestă

dar îi scăpa
armonia domestică.

I-a mărturisit prietenului său
Robert de Fluctibus
şi a scris în jurnal:

“Soţia mea e grasă
zăpăcită şi slabă de minte.”

Mă-ntristează
că gândea aşa

La urma urmei ea trebuia să
spele şi calce
sucitele gulere.

Apoi a murit.

Bietul Kepler.
Biata soţia lui Kepler.

Bieţii noi toţi.

Mă duc la
plimbare

să mă calmez.**

*mi-am permis să mă joc cu textul, care e scris într-o proză aproximativă, iar asta a fost o singură pagină ilustrată; de toate, sunt 300 :)

** Iulian, ulterior, și-a permis să-l traducă
